Conservatory Types

Lean-to (£5k–18k)

Simplest and cheapest. A single-slope roof that leans against the house wall. Best for: bungalows, small gardens, modern homes. Not ideal for period properties.

Victorian (£8k–30k)

Bay-fronted with a rounded or faceted front. Classic look. Best for: period homes, character properties. The most popular style in the UK.

Edwardian (£8k–30k)

Rectangular with a flat front. Maximises floor space. Best for: furniture layout, dining rooms, home offices. More usable space than Victorian.

Orangery (£25k–70k+)

Part brick, part glass. More like a real room extension with a glass roof lantern. Best for: year-round use, adding property value. Feels like a proper room, not a glass box.
